Turn by Turn Street Navigation comes in Voice Guidance, and then There is a Non-Guidance type that will show you the street but not how to get there.

First is the Best but also has its down falls as Street Mapping go's , But the Second is Good for Most people and has the Most Information of both types of Turn by Turn Information you will need

First type of Turn by Turn is Full Guidance to your location you wish to go, But I will point out one thing First Not all of Australia has Full Guidance and Voice Prompting for you. The down fall of this type of unit is that you will have to wait until the Two main GPS Suppliers put out new Mapping for your Model, You can not mix mapping Software from one supplier to the other. They bring out new Software every 18 to 24 Months for each GPS Brands and you will have to pay for it in most cases.

Only the Capital and outter Large Regional Centres have Full Guidance, but will guide you from One Capital city to another with out any problems

The Second type is more of what people want in a Turn by turn unit, Full Street Level mapping for Australia.

Included in this type of Turn by Turn is Point of Interest, Hospitals, Post Offices, Police Stations, Fire Stations, Schools, Church's, Parks, National Parks, Oval's, Caravan Parks, and other things like that, but again this is not a Full Guidance Unit, It will show you where the Place is, but not turn by turn to get there.
