	Uniden - UBC73XLT Now Comes with Frequency Data Base CD Designed and Engineered in Japan 100 Channels: The Scanner has 100 Channels in 10 Banks for storage of often-used frequencies. 7 Bands: 7 Bands of designated frequencies. Ultra Compact Design: Convenient and ergonomic. Frequency Range: 25-88MHz, 108 – 174 MHz, 400-512 MHz Close Callä RF Capture Technology: Allows you to immediately lock onto nearby transmissions. Frequency Range: 25-512MHz, 806-956MHz, 1240-1300MHz Trunktracker III- (MotorolaÒ Analog Trunking, EDACSÒ / EDACSÒ SCAT, LTRÒ). Search for and monitor all the groups within a specific trunked system. Direct Channel Access Channel Lockout Priority Scan State Scanning: Allows you to scan by state or territory in Australia and New Zealand. Police, Fire and Ambulance frequencies are pre-programmed by state and territory so that frequencies are easy to find. Clone: Allows for cloning of another scanner’s programmed frequencies (The two scanners must be connected by an optional cloning cable for the cloning process take place). Control Channel Only Mode: Allows the user to automatically trunk certain systems by simply programming the control channel. Memory Lock: You can lock in to help prevent accidental re-programming of channels and talk group IDs that are entered into memory. PC Control: This feature allows the user to remotely program and control the scanner using optional UBCT8 software (not included). Note *** Police in most capital cities, have now gone DIGITAL with there services, and you can no longer use a Standard Scanner to listern to them, and even some of the NEW DIGITAL Scanners, still can not hear them as well, and even more some states are even using a Encrypted services, so you can never hear them again.

We have also been told that the CFA (Country Fire Authority) in Victoria will also be going Digital next year 2008, and the NSW Fire service is also going the same way as well in 2008.
