The new nuvi 250W is the newest model in the popular nuvi
family featuring a sleek new ultra-slim design in widescreen
while retaining the well known easy two button 'Garmin' interface
and menu structure that sets Garmin apart from other GPS navigators.
The nuvi 250W comes with City Navigator ® Australia preloaded
on internal memory freeing the open SD card slot for additional
maps and images. Additional features and enhancements include
a Picture Viewer, Calculator, Currency Converter, Unit Converter
and World Clock. Also included are configurable vehicle icons
and Garmin Lock in which disables the unit from performing
any functions until the user types in a specific 4-digit PIN
or takes the unit to a predetermined secure location.
The POI proximity alert feature is standard
and this enables Speed camera, School zone, Red light camera
and other Black spot data to be downloaded for advanced audible
and visual warnings.
Navigate with Ease
nuvi 250W comes ready to go with preloaded maps and includes
automatic routing, 3D or 2D map perspective, turn-by-turn
voice directions and a fingertip touch screen interface, making
navigation easy. It also supports configurable vehicle icons
fun, customized car-shaped icons in a variety of colours that
show your position on the map.

nuvi 250W features a 4.3 inch diagonal color WQVGA display
for improved map viewing, POI lookup and MP3/audio book playback.
This landscape display has white backlight and a touchscreen
for easy use.
