     Tx 3600

The TX3600 is the latest model in GME's new generation of UHF transceivers. It represents a major advance in commercial radio with outstanding features and performance. Designed and manufactured at our ISO9002 certified facility in Sydney the TX3600 is built to the most stringent manufacturing standards.

The compact modular design incorporates a rugged diecast aluminium chassis. This robust type of construction enables the TX3600 to withstand the rigours of constant vibration and extreme temperatures.

Installation is simple, measuring just 128 W x 117 L x 29 H mm the TX3600 easily fits into the confines of modern vehicles. A remote control head mounting option is also available. For traditional DIN sized console mounting the MBD001 DIN adaptor kit allows the TX3600 to be easily removed or installed. The built-in speaker can be mounted facing either upwards or downwards for clear audio.

The TX3600 shares a common features list with the TX7000 handheld transceiver and is fully compatible with both the TX7000 and the RP3600 repeater. The TX3600 can be configured to meet the user's individual and future needs for reliable, cost effective communications. The TX3600 is the ideal transceiver for mobile communications in hard working environments.

Tx 3600TN Is a Data Radio

The TX3600D Data transceiver represents a major advance in commercial radio with outstanding features and performance. Designed and manufactured at our ISO9002 certified facility in Sydney the TX3600TN is built to the most stringent manufacturing standards.

The TX3600TN Data transceiver includes a fully specified in-built AFSK/FFSK data modem for point to point and multi-point data solutions.

The compact modular design incorporates a rugged diecast aluminium chassis. This robust type of construction enables the TX3600TN to withstand the rigours of constant vibration and extreme temperatures.

The TX3600TN has the following operating modes:

Basic Byte/Addressable Byte Transparent 1200/2400/4800bps.
Asynchronous/Synchronous 1200/2400/4800bps and V23.

Scanning
Two possible modes:
Open Scan (OS) scans the preselected channels in an ascending sequence.
Group Scan (GS) also scans in an ascending sequence but monitors and gives priority to the main working channel.

Selcall
Allows individual radios to be called without disturbing other radios on the channel. Group Selcalls allow more than one radio to be called in groups of either 10 or 100.

CTCSS
Continuous Tone Coded Squelch is a quieting system that allows a group of radios to talk to each other without having to hear other users on the same channel.

Voting
The "Multi-Trunk" system allows the radio to automatically select the nearest free repeater channel, allowing users with and without "Multi-Trunk" to share multiple repeaters more efficiently.

Identification
The large LCD screen features Alphanumeric labelling of selected channels and user names. This simplifies channel selection and the identification of incoming callers when using Automatic Number Identification (ANI) Selcall.

DTMF
Dual Tone Multiple Frequency signalling can be used for dialling telephone numbers or activating devices by remote control. The radio can be programmed to "Speed Dial" a number from memory on a specific channel by pressing a designated Function Key.

Talk Around
This enables the radio to talk directly to another radio when both parties are using a repeater channel, without going through the repeater itself. This may be necessary when the repeater is out of range but both radios are still in range of each other.

RF Output Power
The user can select either 25 Watts or 5 Watts RF output power.
