The eXplorist XL has a built in Australia base map of major roads, highways, railways, coastlines, towns, cities and waterways and has 30MB of available internal memory for detailed street mapping and unlimited storage of detailed maps, waypoints, routes and track logs through SD memory expansion.

Advanced PC style file management system and high speed USB data port allows users to easily download and access Next Destination’s, Magellan certified DiscoverAus Streets and Tracks software, or install DiscoverAus Topo mapping software on pre loaded SD cards.

With the combination of the eXplorists XL’s large vibrant colour screen and Topo mapping data, the contour lines clearly show the 3D shape of the terrain, guiding the user to the least strenuous path ahead.

The Magellan eXplorist XL is easy to use with its backlit keypad and joystick that provides one touch access to key features and built in help files.

The Magellan Geocaching Manager software simplifies this fast growing GPS activity by loading Geocaching data directly from the internet to Magellan eXplorist XL, eliminating the need to print website information or manually enter GPS coordinates into the receiver.
